Our Labs
Discover how our experimental facilities support innovative research in sustainable infrastructure.

Laboratory Facilities for Resilient Infrastructure
Our civil engineering laboratories house advanced testing frames, environmental chambers, and sensing systems that simulate real-world loading, climate, and aging, enabling experiments on concrete, steel, composites, and soils to improve the safety, durability, and sustainability of infrastructure networks.
Rolling Load Simulator (ROLLS)
This one of a kind system simulates the forces borne by a bridge when large and small vehicles drive across. It collects data which are then analyzed by engineers to assess the performance of all aspects of the bridge structure, including the deck, girders, joints, and connections of many types of bridges.
